More Than a Pumpkin Patch — Come Experience Crockett Family Farms
Come shop, eat, drink, gather, and stay awhile at Crockett Family Farms! Our brand-new 3,600-square-foot General Store & Event Center was designed to be a place where families and friends can come together and enjoy a little bit of everything we love about the country.
Inside our General Store, you’ll find a carefully selected mix of local favorites, seasonal goods, gifts, and treats. Shop jams, jellies, bread and dip mixes, custom candles, fall décor, souvenirs, books, candy, branded Crockett Family Farms apparel and merchandise, and so much more. Whether you’re looking for something to take home, a unique gift, or just want to browse while you’re visiting the farm, there is always something new to find.
And come hungry! Grab a fresh pastry or sweet treat, pick up a snack, or enjoy one of our food offerings while you’re here. Stop by the bar for an apple cider slushie, iced coffee, dirty soda, cocktail, or an ice-cold beer on tap. With options for both kids and adults, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
One of our favorite parts of the new space is our 1,600-square-foot covered patio. Grab a drink, find a seat, and enjoy the farm atmosphere without being in a hurry to leave. During the fall season, you can catch a football game, listen to live music on the weekends, enjoy great food and drinks, and spend time with family and friends. It’s the perfect place to relax after a day at the pumpkin patch or simply come out and enjoy an afternoon at the farm.

Crockett Family Farms isn’t just a place to visit during pumpkin season — our General Store & Event Center is also available for private rentals.
With 3,600 square feet of indoor space plus our 1,600-square-foot covered patio, our venue offers a beautiful country setting for gatherings both big and small. The space is available for weddings, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal and baby showers, birthday and anniversary parties, graduation celebrations, family reunions, business meetings, corporate gatherings, holiday parties, fundraisers, and other special events.
Our goal was to create a space that feels warm, welcoming and elevated while still staying true to our farm and family roots. Whether you’re planning a wedding, hosting a company meeting, celebrating a milestone, or simply looking for a unique place to bring people together, Crockett Family Farms offers a setting unlike anything else in the area.
From fall days spent picking pumpkins to evenings on the patio, live music, cold drinks, shopping, celebrations and weddings, there’s always a reason to come out to the farm.

Here at Crockett Farms it is free admission and free activities. We don’t have all the bells and whistles but more down home, simple fun.

Our approach
Located between Atchison, KS and St. Joseph, MO you will find Crockett Family Farms Produce. Founded is 1994 from some overflow of Grandma Crockett’s personal garden, she decided to set up shop and sell her excess right from her own backyard. Not knowing this was the start of something much bigger, she continued growing a little bit more each and every year. Now, over 25 years later Crockett Family Farms is still family owned and operated, now growing 20+ acres worth of fall produce each year, and serving up fall family fun to the public every year.
